The deal was sealed during the private treaty sale period as the buyer willing to match the owners’ asking price.

Their appointed marketing agent Colliers announced the news and according to them, Amitabha Buddhist Society is the buyer, it was acquired as part of their expansion plans.

The land purchaser, who now resides at 2 Lorong 35 Geylang and 693 Geylang Road, put down a 5% deposit on the property on Monday.

Base on the sale price, the 8 Lorong 35 Geylang site’s land rate works out to S$1,007 per square foot per plot ratio (psf ppr).

Upon the successful sale of the property, which is subject to approval from the Strata Titles Board, each happy owner will receive anticipated gross selling proceeds of S$1.92 million to S$1.94 million, depending on the size of their unit.
